As reported in the Guardian, the IOC (International Olympic Committee) has established a special unit to address the possibility of gambling-related corruption at the Olympic Games. According to the report, "Increasing concern about the potential for match-fixing has prompted the move."

David Nathanson who is the VP and GM of TVG had this to say.

They purchased the company from 32 Red for almost 6 million pounds.

Online betting exchange Betfair has opened up an online spread betting and binary betting website called Tradefair Binaries. The service will offer a financial exchange service much like it's sports betting website Betfair, who is considered the worlds largest online sports betting exchange.

Pricewaterhouse Cooper raises questions about Tote sale

Pricewaterhouse Cooper has notified the UK government that the sale of Tote for 320 million pounds is too low. They believe that the best method to sell the bookmaker would be some sort of auction.

Gala Coral has already offered 405 million pounds but the UK government seem intent on selling Tote to the racing industry for less.
