Today's games included Denmark versus Portugal and the Netherlands up against Germany.

Denmark versus Portugal:
Lots of goals going on in todays matchup, with Portugal ultimately winding up in the lead winning 3-2 over Denmark.

During the first half Niki Zimling had to get subbed off the field after a knock, followed by a 24 minute goal by Pepe for Portugal. At the 36 minute mark Hélder Postiga scored again for Portugal, putting them in an envious lead heading towards the second half. With 4 minutes until half-time, Bendtner scored for Denmark, leaving them down a point into the second half.

The second half remained scoreless right up until the 80 minute mark, at which point Bendtner scored yet again for Denmark to tie things up at 2-2 keeping the fans excited, only to have Silvestre Varela pop in a third for Portugal seven minutes later at the 87 minute mark.

Netherlands versus Germany:
The Netherlands suffered another loss today against the favored Germans, ending in a 2-1 game.

During the first half Gomez scored not once, but twice for Germany; first at the 24 minute mark - then again just 38 minutes into the game, carrying a healthy 2-0 lead into halftime.

The second half remained scoreless until 73 minutes into the game, when Van Persie scored for the Netherlands to help keep things interesting towards the end of the match. Unfortunately that wasn't enough, and Germany took the win at 90+2.
