This LiveScore Bet review starts with the licence. The Gambling Commission register lists LiveScore Betting and Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited under account 56859 with remote licence reference 056859-R-332720-006. Three licences are shown as active from 19 June 2020: casino, general betting standard for real events and general betting standard for virtual events. The register page we read on 21 October 2026 showed no regulatory actions against the licensee.
The register page also gives the head office as a Gibraltar address. The app store listing names LiveScore Ltd. as the seller and credits the copyright to LiveScore Betting and Gaming Ltd, so the app and the licensee are separate named entities. A licence entry confirms that the operator may offer gambling to people in Great Britain. It says nothing about how any product performs.
Section 4.1 of the terms and conditions requires members to be at least 18, resident in Great Britain, registered in their own name and not self-excluded. Section 4.6 says customers with access to non-public information, such as professional players, athletes or coaches, cannot be accepted. Employees and contractors of the company and its service providers cannot bet, apart from authorised testing (8.5).
Third-party funds cannot be used to fund bets (11.3), and chargebacks are prohibited (5.5.1). Bets become binding once accepted, which the terms say is confirmed by an on-screen message and a transaction ID (11.1.1 and 11.1.2). The terms refer readers to the Sports Rules for the bet-by-bet acceptance details.
The terms define Cash Out as accepting an offer from the operator to settle a bet fully before its usual completion, with the amount credited to the account balance. It is available only where the operator offers it, and the detail is in the Sports Rules (terms, sections 2 and 11.1.4).
If an event is cancelled or amended and a bet cannot be settled, the bet is void and the stake is returned (11.7). The terms also allow bets to be voided or re-settled after a malfunction or an error (15.5.1 and 15.6.1), and bets linked to fraud, collusion or manipulation can be declared void (8.8). Anyone betting should read these sections, because a void is a settlement outcome the customer does not control.
According to section 5.1.1, deposits and withdrawals are ordinarily free of charge, although card issuer or bank fees are not the operator's responsibility. Deposit limits are set per transaction and vary by payment method, and the operator may also limit daily deposits (5.2). Withdrawal limits also apply per transaction and vary by method, with no combined limit over a period (5.7). Customer funds are held in a separate client account, which the terms describe as 'medium protection' (5.12). See the terms.
Age and identity may be checked through credit reference agencies. The terms say this is not a credit check (4.2.1). If automated checks fail, documents such as a passport, driving licence or utility bill may be requested, expired documents are not accepted, and the account is not activated until checks are complete (4.2.2). Anti-money-laundering checks can ask for proof of address and payment-method ownership, and transactions may be suspended until those checks pass (4.7.1).
Credit cards cannot be used for gambling in Great Britain, a rule in force since April 2020. For the tools that help keep betting in check, see the responsible gambling page.
The UK terms name LiveScore Betting and Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited, company number 119433, registered in Gibraltar, as the operator. They place it in a wider LiveScore Group, which the terms say also includes Virgin Bet, and they state that the LiveScore and LiveScore Bet names are trade marks owned within that group and used under licence.
The terms also explain how they can change. Minor changes take effect when published. For a material change LiveScore Bet says it will give at least 14 days' notice, by a message when you next log in and by email. A customer who does not accept a material change has the account restricted and is told to stop using the site and contact customer service to close it.
The App Store privacy label goes further than most in this comparison. The developer, LiveScore Ltd., declares that financial info, location, contact info, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics may be used to track users across other companies' apps and websites, and that identifiers and usage data may be linked to you for third-party advertising.
LiveScore Bet holds a Gambling Commission licence for casino and general betting, is open to adults living in Great Britain, and combines sportsbook and casino in one app according to its store listing. Its terms set a £0.10 minimum stake, one account per person, own-name registration, identity and source-of-funds checks, and per-method payment limits. Read the Sports Rules and the payments section of the help centre before depositing, and use the responsible gambling tools if betting stops being fun. 18+, BeGambleAware.org.
